Reggae Needs “IBrave”

In a time when everybody is running to TikTok and chasing the algorithm, IBRAVE is taking flight in another direction.

Kisha Lattery, better known as IBRAVE, is not your average trending artiste. She is a warrior. An empress. And in a dancehall and reggae space crowded with virality, her music is cutting through with a particular frequency. Her energy is cutting through with a particular frequency. And now, it is being exposed to the world.

Where others chase likes, IBRAVE chases legacy. Where others follow trends, she follows truth.

That truth is now packaged in her latest body of work – *”DJ Kenny Presents IBRAVE – CLEARANCE (Album Mixfix 2026)”*. This is not just a mixtape. This is clearance. A clearing of bad mind, of Babylon system, of everything that has been blocking the culture.

From the _Pink Panta Intro_ to the raw call of _A Weh Di Girls Dem_, IBRAVE shows range. Tracks like _Dub School_ and _Souls Are Crying_ remind us that reggae is still message music, still soul music. Then she closes with Mc Nuffy on the Outro – full circle, community, yard to the world.

Her breakout single *”I Can See Clearly”* is the anchor. In a year where Hot Topics and politics dominated headlines, IBRAVE dropped an anthem that says – I can see past that. It’s the type of record Irie FM will play in 10 years and it still feels relevant.

She has been the warrior empress on the frontline, singing equal rights, advocating for Black women, walking in the mentorship of the great Peter Tosh with songs like “Brand New World.” But as IBRAVE, she is renewed. IBRAVE means – I’m willing to go where no one wants to go, in the name of righteousness.

That is the frequency. That is the flight.

The industry is looking for the next viral moment. IBRAVE is giving us the next vital moment.
