Crab King – Manchester 2 Jersey

Introducing Crab King LLC – Where Jamaica Meets the Jersey Shore

From the rolling hills of Manchester, Jamaica, to the vibrant Garden State of New Jersey, a culinary love story blooms. For islanders, seafood is a way of life—but for Jamaicans living in NJ, it’s literally at their doorstep. Enter Crab King, the brainchild of husband-and-wife duo Huschel Story and Rae‑Anna Story.

What sets Crab King apart? They’ve nailed the marriage of Jamaican flavor with authentic American seafood—something most restaurants only dream of. Started with legendary crab buckets drenched in signature sauces, the couple now offers seasonal seafood boils loaded with lobster, shrimp, clams, corn, potatoes—and their own buttery garlic magic. It’s a menu built for the whole family, a sea‑food palette you won’t find every day.

Crab King LLC began with crabs and quickly expanded to full‑blown seafood boils in the off‑season. Every bite bursts with West Indian zest, letting you taste the culture on the tip of your tongue. Pre‑orders are welcomed, and the couple’s Jamaican‑American background brings an authentic, lived‑in experience to every plate.

Operating for the past 6 years out of Garden State Kitchen 406 Tompkins Street, Orange, NJ 07005. The community response has been nothing short of tremendous—customers flood in from nearby hospitals, schools, and social media buzz keeps the orders rolling.

Quote from co‑founder Rae‑Anna  “The response from the community so far has been tremendous. We get a lot of customers from the nearby hospitals and schools. Social media has also helped to drive customers. I love being a hostess and chef alongside my partner.”

On any given shift, 2‑4 dedicated staff keep the kitchen sizzling and the front line smiling.

Ready to experience the fusion? Come taste the magic that’s turning heads from Manchester to New Jersey.

  2. I first visited this spot with a colleague and have been back many times. You can’t beat the flavor or the price of their seafood boils.
