Lets explore the world of the artisan. One of our very own that followed her dreams, her passions and allowed it to guide her through the midst. Let us introduce you to someone and a brand we have grown to love. Meet the lovely CEO Sahaii Delfosse – Ingleton of DIVINE FEMININE GODDESS BEADS. I never had any plans on starting a business AT ALL but here’s my story! I went through a really bad time emotionally in my life and I was trying to heal from it. I didn’t know where to start or even how to begin healing. I started delving into spirituality. I read books, LOTS of books on EVERYTHING I could find about our reason and purpose in this world, our soul’s journey, Crystals, Numerology; I mean I read EVERYTHING! I started meditating a lot and using and wearing Crystals. I would go to the beach every full moon and bring my crystals and incense and sound bowls to meditate and bring flowers to give to Mother Earth. I started taping into a part of myself that I didn’t know existed. I was truly beginning to start this journey of mastering my journey back to Self; my higher consciousness. Fast-forward a year and a friend and I went to visit a store in Fort Lauderdale, FL and the owner had a waist bead making class and I was intrigued. I have always wanted to wear them but was just so self-conscious about my weight and thought that I could never wear them. I decided to do the class and I created my first waist bead. When I tied them on me, I felt this energetic shift that could only be described as awakening to self-love, an immense feeling of peace and contentment. I started making waist beads at work during my lunch break. The act of threading each bead by hand was my meditation, it was my calm and my comfort. My coworkers started noticing my work and asked if I could create for them and asked me how much would I charge. This was when Divine Feminine Goddess Beads was birthed, in 2019. The year 2019 holds the energy of the number 3. 3 is the number of creativity. I then decided that I needed to understand how women could use them on their healing journey, and in meditation I asked for guidance. I needed to see how my work could be different and truly unique to the individual wearing them, and the guidance I received was to use Numerology, specifically the energy of the individual’s Life Path Number. I started experimenting with other pieces of jewelry because I want everyone to experience their personal journey from a place of healing and reverence, and I now create bracelets for Men, Women and Children, anklets, thigh beads, and necklaces. Each piece that I create is spiritually crafted with the energy of the individual’s Life Path Number. My gift to this world is that my jewelry will help bring healing, self-love, balance, empowerment and purpose to people who wear it. My goal is to help people discover their true path; the path that will bring them the most fulfillment in their life’s journey. I only ask that the wearer be open to the support that they need to receive in any area of their lives that needs the most nurturing by setting intentions and awakening to their true Divine purpose. The jewelry I create are not only beautiful, but meaningful. I want people to heal,
I want people to love themselves unconditionally and I want people to find and understand what their true purpose is. Most of my customers are people who are looking for guidance on their journey, and my jewelry is just another tool to help them on their journey of self-discovery and coming back to Self. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and that there are no coincidences, and once you truly release control and allow yourself to be guided by your Higher Self or Ancient Self, then anything we choose to pursue in life, as long as it’s in alignment with your purpose, could never be a struggle. If you’re walking in your Divine purpose, then there will never be challenges. Don’t get me wrong, there will be lessons, but lessons are important for growth, and understanding the lessons can only help you become a master on your journey. I have faced many lessons on this journey. I had to figure out how to run a business, I had to learn through trial and error the best materials to use to create quality jewelry, and I’m grateful for every lesson, every experience, the mentorship and support, and the Earth Angels who I have crossed paths with because that is what have made me a better person and business woman.
So hope that story inspired the next set of artisans and young bosses. We will continue to celebrate our Caribbean women and all their endeavors.
