Reggae is a vibe, an energy, a lifestyle that’s deeply rooted in Rastafarian culture and tradition. To live up this tradition and lifestyle it gets harder with capitalism, consumerism and everything that comes with it. Amlak Redsquare is a prime example of someone who’s embodying this lifestyle, living by its principles, and spreading the message through his music and endeavors. We live in a world where most people and brand are in conflict with who they are and the message they want to deliver. Amlak Redsquare is living the brand. Best believe it’s not about branding this is who the Fari is.
As a singer, songwriter, father, activist, podcaster (Music & Marriage along with his wife) farmer and philanthropist, Amlak’s got a lot on his plate, but he’s all about prioritizing his culture and people. His rules are simple. “Family first and we build through that”. He was early with his family in the relief program after hurricane “Mellisa”. He’s part of the Redsquare Rebelnation, a talented collective led by dancehall icon Spragga Benz, who’s also his mentor and uncle.

Amlak’s had to work hard to make his mark, but it’s paid off. He’s taken the stage across the Caribbean, Europe, and Jamaica, sharing his unique style and message of hope, awareness, and consciousness. Tracks like “Run Di Place”, “Cant Get We Out” (Track that was focusing on humanity during the covid epidemic), “Heart A Love”(Showing and displaying what black love looks like. The connection between man and woman) and “Rebirth” are testaments to his talent. Each track is really art representing life.
This is a shout-out to Amlak Redsquare and all he’s accomplishin’. Support his music, his projects, his podcast, his farming, and all his artisan gifts.
