Summer Promo Tour: A Milestone for This Indie Poet
This summer, I embarked on a thrilling promo tour across Europe, orchestrated by my management team, Pushayute Inc. As an indie poet from Jamaica, I’ve been embracing my classification as a Dub Poet, proud to represent my rich cultural heritage. We all know the legends like Muta, Ms Lou & others.

With a catalog that includes three poetry books, including my latest, “Fruit Basket,” I was eager to take my art to the global stage. Despite initial uncertainties, we stepped out in faith, securing seven shows across the continent.

Although travel delays forced the cancellation of one show in Switzerland, the experience was overwhelmingly positive. Two standout performances in Italy proved that, with careful planning and consistency, I can become a formidable touring force.

A charity event for Ugandan citizens further demonstrated my appeal beyond the Jamaican cultural sphere. I’m now more determined than ever to establish myself as a professional touring poet – a creative force to be reckoned with.

On a personal note, touring with my partner and baby brought its own set of challenges, but also unforgettable moments. We formed lasting bonds with strangers-turned-hosts, reinforcing the power of intention, planning, and positive energy.

As I look to the future, I’m excited to announce that my next European tour will be even bigger and better. The sky’s the limit!
