Kush McAnuff is one of those eclectic but deeply rooted musicians based in Jamaica. He’s the son of one the greatest to ever do Reggae music “Winston (electric guitar) McAnuff. So literally he is somewhat music royalty within the sounscape of Reggae and Rastafarian community.
His musical accomplishments stem from writing, producing and leading the “Inna De Yard Allstars” as the lead drummer. He has been in around music since he joined his father’s band in the mid 90s till present. He made several bands and groups between those times.
Now we look at Kush as musician that is letting his heart, his art and his energy forge his solo career. He’s already established his album titled “Heights Region”. Now we are here to explore his latest single titled “Run Way Negative”.
The track is about the energy and thoughts we consume. It’s reminiscent of 80s Reggae Dub style.  Kush leaves his trademark sound and his cool baritone  voice which establishes control. The track was produced by a Parisian label “Tatooin Beat Studio”. A well put together track as we can hear the live music where the horns and natural bass sets the tone for the production.
